Well, every single moment from when we entered the gates to this gorgeous historic establishment was just memorable. We were accompanied to our room which was very spacious, clean and had the most comfortable bed and pillows. View was superb of the chateau. Booked in for 2 hours in the spa for a relaxing time enjoying the warm jet waters, sauna and steam room. This time was most warranted to then laze on a recliner lounge for a much needed afternoon siesta after weeks of travelling. We came via train from Geneva and it was so easy to get the D tram then the C4 bus to the Chateau. We booked in for dinner and chose the 3 course set menu. WOW. Do yourself a favour and sit in amongst the family portraits in the dining room and emmerse yourself back into history. An absolute charm. Food was just stunning as was the service. What a delight. This place was so quiet and tranquil, and gave us as travellers the time we needed to unwind and relax Hats off to you guys and all the staff. ❤️

Lady on the reception for check in was so helpful, allowed motorcycles to be parked inside the reception due to recent theft problems in the area. The rooms are basic and great for the price, comfy bed, clean and great breakfast,

We loved everything, 11 stars out of 10! The room was very spacious. The toilet was in its own enclosed room, separated from the rest of the bathroom, which is not common in hotels, but very much appreciated! The staff was fabulous, spoke perfect English. We loved all the decorations at RockyPop, the whole hotel just had a very optimistic friendly vibe. They also had a self-service tablet for easier check-in. Opposite the hotel there are two supermarkets. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station (we didn't use public transport in Grenoble at all). We only stayed one night but next time I would stay even for two weeks, this hotel is just amazing!

My neighbour next door was on the phone from 8.15pm untill 11.35pm and I understood any single word and moreover even the voice of his female counterpart. So I asked the Hotel staff after 1hr to change the room, since the parking lot was less than 50% full (apart from Restaurant charing the parking too). And I explained in addition, that the 8hrs drive was stressful due to several traffic jams. Having said this, the dissapointment was subsequently quite hugh. In a nutshell, no recommendation, I m sorry.

Fantastic hotel, the staff are very friendly. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the food is fine dining, but you get a discount for staying in the hotel. The room was huge, with a view of the mountains from the bath! It’s amazing value, and we’d definitely go back next time we’re in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes department, fantastic level of hospitality and a very personal touch.

The beds!!! We've spent quite a bit of time in various hotels in France over the years. Here we found the best mattreses ever, even the kids were hyper impressed. We would come back just to enjoy them. Breakfast, though not that varied, was delicious. Parking spaces at ease

Amazing hotel and lovely staff. Our stay was a birthday treat for my wife and we booked a massage. It was the best ever and we will be back. The food was excellent and the location first class.
