Just a single night as we drove through the area and stopped to see some of the D-Day sites. An adorable little farmhouse stay with a few cats and geese in the garden. The hosts were the highlight, as they chatted us up and provided everything we needed. We felt a bit guilty that they spent so much time on us even though we only stayed one night. The breakfast was actually a pleasant surprise, with some of the best French toast I've had in years. Would come back just for that!

Peaceful and beautiful setting. Fantastic base for exploring the history of the Normandy region. D-Day landmarks are very near. The room was very clean, modern, nice and comfortable with the terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers an excellent food.

A Cozy Retreat with Charming Surroundings We had a genuinely pleasant stay at this hotel, which offered a relaxing and cozy atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was spotless, well-maintained, and notably peaceful, perfect for a restful escape. The overall environment was calm, with neatly kept grounds and an inviting layout, as can be seen from the balcony view. The facilities were well above expectations for a property of this category. The swimming pool was generously sized, and the small spa area with a sauna and steam room added a welcome touch of luxury and comfort. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged. A notable highlight was the breakfast, served in the adjacent restaurant. The space itself was quiet, well-decorated, and comfortable, enhancing the morning experience. The food selection emphasized high-quality, locally sourced ingredients from the Bayeux region, which made it feel authentic and special. The service throughout our stay was warm and attentive, contributing significantly to the overall positive experience. It’s a hotel we would happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful and well-appointed place to stay.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Pascal’s place. The house is located in a peaceful area, very clean, and thoughtfully arranged – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. What stood out most was Pascal himself. He is an exceptionally kind, generous, and accommodating host. I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout my entire stay. Pascal went above and beyond to help me whenever I needed support – something I deeply appreciate and don’t take for granted. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality. Excellent breakfast. Host most attentive.lovely own egg fried. Enjoyed host ‘s own fresh plums. Very clean. Nice linen. Excellent shower. Can certainly recommend. Very convenient for visits to the Normandy DDay beaches .

The town itself is a hamlet, you have to go out for essentials (groceries), but that completely outweighs the convenient location of all the major highlights around the D-Day beaches, museums, and towns.

The location is perfect for visiting strategic sites (Ohama Beach, American and German cemeteries, Pointe du Hoc, etc.). Plus, there's a restaurant near the guesthouse for dinner, with a very friendly owner and waitresses.

A small, well-maintained town, centrally and quietly located for visiting the beaches, which are also historical sites of D-Day, and the surrounding towns with small but important fishing ports and numerous restaurants.

It only had one seat. There was no TV.

It only had one seat. There was no TV. The first day there was an unpleasant smell, but it disappeared. We were always able to park right outside. It's very quiet. It's best to request a room that isn't the one for disabled guests.

The city is very calm.

The city is very calm. The night is for sleeping and recharging your energy for the next day. Remember to buy something to eat on the way, if you arrive at night. The accommodation provides a coffee maker, kettle, pans, microwave, and there is a supermarket nearby. It's a trip that will definitely be better enjoyed if done by car.
