I was looking for a good place to stop off for a good night sleep on my way travelling through the entire continent. I picked it as it was close to the motorway and just on the border between France and Germany. It has a great safe carpark and it is located in a quiet small town. Within walking distance to Lidl for anyone who likes to do a shopping in a familiar groccery store. Very clean room, friendly receptionist and good value for money. We arrived very late but this wasn't a problem as the staff sent us a pin code to enter the building and room and sorted the payment at check out. I would highly recommend and would definitely visit again if we are near by.

Freyming-Merlebach isn't exactly a picturesque place, but there were plenty of interesting walking trails in the immediate vicinity of our accommodation. We also visited the Völklinger Hütte industrial monument and went to the largest multiplex cinema in the entire region, which is also located in Freyming-Merlebach.

Modern hotel with self-check-in near the highway. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in had a strong smell of smoke. Breakfast was also a bit expensive compared to what was offered.

Freyming-Merlebach is of no interest whatsoever.

Freyming-Merlebach is of no interest whatsoever. It's an unappealing industrial area. Its proximity to the German border is perhaps its only redeeming feature. However, not far from Freyming, this region of Lorraine boasts pleasant terrain, forests, and lakes that make one forget the drabness of the mining and industrial landscape.

This is by far the best Premiere Classe we have ever stayed in. It is extremely clean and rooms have been refurbished. A special word about the receptionist on duty on Sunday evening..she was exceptional, professional and very helpful - recommended a restaurant and solved my wifi connection problem, she is an asset to this hotel

Clean, welcoming and straight off the motorway so great for a mid way stop through France. The service was exceptional, the guy literally couldn't do enough for us, I've had worse service at 5 star hotels.
