We had booked a room for one night but in the morning decided to stay another night which, fortunately, was available. This was an excellent base to hike and explore the cirques and the perfect place for us to spend our last two nights of a three week visit to France before flying home to the US. The hotel is very comfortable, the owners and staff are welcoming and helpful and the countryside spectacular.

    It was self-catering. The location in the centre of the wonderful village of Gavarnie was perfect. The village shop with adequate supplies was no more than a two minute walk away. There was a balcony with chairs, a table and a bit of a mountain view. The low-level bed was OK. The other, small bedroom has two bunk beds which are fairly small.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. We were well looked after, particularly regarding the loan of an ice-pack to ease a troublesome back problem plus walking poles to aid a lovely walk to the Cirque de Gavarnie. Great views of the Cirque from the front of the hotel. Safe parking for our motorcycle.

    The location was exceptional! You could not ask for anything better. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The view was amazing. Parking was close and included. For the price, the hotel was perfect. The Lady working the desk and breakfast was exceptionally friendly and helpful!
