Me and my husband are on a roadtrip over the Core d’Azur and we stayed in this lovely 2 star hotel. The view is sooo nice and romantic that having a dinner there is kind of must thing to do if you like peaceful place with good vine on the table. You really don’t need much just a lovely person next to you😄.

Usually I don’t write reviews, but this place is definitely worth a 10/10 rating! The hosts were a very kind couple, the room was spacious, had a beautiful balcony with views over the area and bay, well-equipped and had great details, super new and clean. The backyard is also beautiful, with a pool and chairs where one can relax and unwind, like a piece of hidden heaven in the mountains of French Riviera. Grasse is also at a walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place and come back again! Merci ❤️

Everything! The room was so nice and cosy, very clean and also with the best view. The Bastide itself was also very nice, the pool area also has the best view over the villages, breakfast as always so tasty and done with care. I had the best cheese! The host Cecile was very polite, very tentative to everyones needs, treated us with care and kindness. The location is also pretty good, very close to everything. We went to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Saint Tropez, Grasse, Saint Paul du Vence, so it is a very good strategic location.

We didn't like Grasse.

We didn't like Grasse. The old town was seedy and felt unsafe at night. During the day my husband and I took a walk around the town. We came across a very large square that was filled with only men - not a woman in sight. When we walked into the square, they all stopped and looked at me as if to say 'What is a woman doing here?'. It was very strange to experience this in France. At night we chose to stay in and cook rather than go to a restaurant simply because it did not feel safe.

Beautiful city and probably very interesting during the day.

Beautiful city and probably very interesting during the day. Spectacular views. At night the centre was very quiet ,in fact dead. Everywhere seemed to be closed except some seedy-looking bars which housed some dubious-looking clients. Virtually no women or young people around . Not a nice atmosphere. Only there for one night .

Great by daytime with charming shops and the renowned purfumeries (Fragonard, etc). Be prepared to splash out in the numerous shops. Somewhat gloomy and unsafe at night, no locals in the streets, all decent places closed, and lots of immigrants that do not look exactly happy and well-to-do.

Perfume heaven! Plenty of indie perfumers. The wonderful International Museum of Perfumery and Fragonard (Fragonard museum is free) are 'must visits) . Restaurants were variable and we found traditional French style restaurants a bit thin on the ground., however we enjoyed La Tannerie, with great French cuisine, superb service and good value. Plenty of pizza, snacks and cafes There's a very well stocked Monoprix supermarket, a food market on Tuesday mornings in the square and plenty of cheese shops and boulangeries.and the local provencal rose wines are delicious! Bring good walking shoes as the tiny streets are quite steep in places. The town is clean and friendly

Grasse is a historic perfume centre in south-east France.

Grasse is a historic perfume centre in south-east France. Perfume is the main focus of the town, with shops, museums and tours centred on its production. The Museum Fragonard is an interesting experience, to be recommended. The town is easy to walk round, though getting buses in and out of the town involve considerable walking. It can be busy with cars at times.

Having previously lived in four different apartments in the city during my time as a student and intern, I can confidently say that this one is by far the best. The apartment is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything you could need, making my stay truly perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in Grasse.

The apartment was elegant, with lovely furnishings, located in the heart of Grasse beneath the pink umbrellas. It is very well equipped with a coffee machine, washer-dryer machine and ironing facilities. Our clothes dried well after a swim in the sea. Very comfortable sofa bed. Good water pressure from the shower and a delightful range of fragrances toiletries. Grasse is a unique medieval city, capital of perfume! We loved our stay here!

Beautiful retreat on the outskirts of Grasse, peaceful and quiet, with an amazing garden. Priscilla and Lorenzo were very friendly and welcoming, happy to give advice on local restaurants, attractions, etc... Breakfast was served in the garden, with well taught out selection of quality local products. There is a great, large pool with shower on site, perfect for cooling down in the summer heat.

It was beautiful. The host made us extremely welcome. The breakfast in the garden was wonderful. The accomodation is a mini apartment really. Spacious, beautifully decorated and stylish.
