I loved it. The hotel was lovely and the was room large and very clean with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderful and the restaurant served the most delicious dinner presented in a michelin star manner.

Quiet location, despite being near a roundabout and busy road. Warm welcome by all staff. Clean comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Slept very well. Varied breakfast in a bright breakfast room or, if fine, space outside. Good quality restaurant next door.

Near Aix-les-Bains and Lake Bourget, we took the tourist train to visit the town: very practical for discovering the sights. We ate very good pizzas at L'Arbre à Cabane.

Outside of the town of Aix-les-Bains, a pleasant little town...

Outside of the town of Aix-les-Bains, a pleasant little town, there's no lake, of course. So it's fine as a stopover, but less so as a holiday destination. The large shopping center with its many national chains lacks sidewalks and pedestrian crossings where people would feel safe.

Actually, Aix-les-Bains is more like a suburb.

Actually, Aix-les-Bains is more like a suburb. What I liked best about Aix was that parking was free almost everywhere. At least that was the case for us, and we mostly parked near the lake. We didn't really explore the town itself; we were there more for the scenery, hiking, and swimming.

Amazing hotel, incredibly stylish and with so much character and attention to detail in the rooms and the common areas, and it gave you this feeling of the Belle Epoque of the European royals. The pool and garden were magic. Amazing service and facilities, great staff, great breakfast. It was a little oasis of peace!

The hotel is very close to the motorway exit and there are restaurants within walking distance (though not easy to reach because of a lack of pavements!). The rooms are well insulated against noise from the motorway. The hotel seems to be relatively new. It is basic but good value, also the breakfast.

- Very close to the highway. Great choice if you only need a few hours of sleep during a long drive. - Fully automated hotel. I didn't meet any persons during my stay, I checked in at a computer, obtained a code for my room and then I could simply leave the next morning.
