I absolutely adore the variety, abundance and quality of the local products they served us for breakfast with a garden view: fresh bread and croissant, homemade delicious jam, cheese, salami, yoghurt, fruit juices, milk, coffee and tea. I appreciate the owner’s kindness and availability to give us information about Rouen and the restaurants around. Our family room (suite for 5/6 people) was very big, spacious and confortable. I suggest this place! Ps You must have a car to reach the place because it’s 35’ by car from Rouen.

Lovely, charming old manor house with a lot of antiquities and beautiful paintings in all the rooms. The family is taking care of everything so you’ll have a wonderful time and feel like it’s your home too. Staying there is a unique experience and for us it’s guaranteed that we will go there again. It is a beautiful country setting but only 45 minutes away from Rouen, a truly beautiful city. All the sites we wanted to see were 45 minutes to 2 1/2 hrs drive from the Chateau. The country roads are tight but the major highways you access to where you need to go are world class.@

Pierre the landlord is a really nice guy.

Pierre the landlord is a really nice guy. Very helpful and speaks really good English. Beautiful building, plenty of parking, great continental breakfast, large warm room, comfortable bed and great value for money. Would stay there again.

A stay to remember…

A stay to remember… We spent a great week in the comfortable, spacious, tasteful and fully furnished apartment in chateau d'Hugleville. We immediately felt at home there. We enjoyed the heated private swimming pool, the beautiful park with ancient trees, the silence around the chateau and the starry sky at night (it is still really dark here). Also important: the wifi in the apartment works perfectly, you could even have a (working) holiday here. There is much to see in the area, including the impressive chalk cliffs of Étretat, the enchanting Abbaye de Jumièges, Monet's colorful gardens, the city of Rouen with its half-timbered houses or the picturesque coastal town of Honfleur. Host Éric surprised us on the day of departure with a shared breakfast and a tour of the house. We hope that the guests after us will enjoy their stay here just as much. For us a holiday week we will never forget… We would like to come back sometime. Thank you Virginie and Éric, you are wonderful hosts, you made us feel welcome! Johan and Linda

20 out of 10. Best accommodation ever. Every evening after our excursions, we looked forward to returning to our little kingdom. We usually also ran into Florence, the hostess, and chatted for a while. She is very friendly and helpful. We're already coming back next year.

The castle, the breakfast, the welcome—the castle doesn't offer meals, only breakfast. Pierre, the owner, is fantastic, and Michel, who assists him, is also very kind. Hugleville isn't very big.

There's nothing to do in the village itself, but if you're...

There's nothing to do in the village itself, but if you're using it as a base for your activities in the region, you'll be in a great spot. Nearby restaurants have limited opening hours, so keep that in mind. The region is also great for cycling, though with some climbs! We enjoyed some lovely bike rides there.
