This hotel was beautiful, the staff were so attentive. We were travelling with our 3 month old baby and they were very accommodating of this and added things to make our visit easier such as a nappy bin and changing mat.

the apartment was spacious and comfortable! the staff (Katia) was extremely helpful and even gave us a welcome gift, when we called her because the wifi wasn’t working she came immediately and helped us out!

From the moment I received the email with details of how to enter the property, I was immediately made to feel welcome by Anne and Cyprien. It was such a comfort to receive such detailed and thoughtful information directly from them and to know their accommodation would be my refuge at the end of a very long car journey! As well as all the practical details I received a welcome pack brouchure they have put together, with everything I would need to know and more - from where to park to where I might eat that night. Their thoughtful attention to detail was similarly noticable throughout the apartment as I opened drawers to find the things you might need whilst away but had forgotten to bring! The apartment itself is homely, yet stylish and comfortable and located perfectly within the old town. It was also peaceful, quiet and felt safe and secure. Thank you so much for being such lovely hosts!! I hope to be back in the future.

    A lovely little town on the river Yonne, great for a weekend, but equally there is lots to fill a longer stay. Close enough to Paris and also plenty of other interesting locations within striking distance. Joigny is a bit of a hidden jewel in my opinion.

    A lovely old town next to the river Yonne with some modernisation of the centre, while preserving the historic elements. Tiny winding cobbled streets and freindly people. Everyone said 'Bonjour'. Good cafes and beautiful churches. A quiet little place from which have adventures.

    I was invited to continue on with a barge trip up/down the Yionne, but did not continue on, because I had other things to do, y'all know how that is, bummer. This is the perfect spot to start your barge experience and the hotel is in walking/carrying distance.

    Sadly the restaurant cancelled our booking for dinner, offered cold plate in room instead, so no bar etc open! We originally booked as long drive on Sunday it would have been nice to relax and enjoy a proper dinner on arrival ! Room OK, bed OK with exception of Pillows, lumpy‼️ Good breakfast, paid extra, I think food expensive for what we got! Nice location! Might return on future drive through France? Only if I know we can get Dinner!

    This, visually charming town, unfortunately , lets you down...

    This, visually charming town, unfortunately , lets you down when you walk around it. It is quite grotty, shabby with very few restaurants, bars etc. Also felt unsafe walking around. Avoid Wednesdays as the few places that are open close on this day. Ended up eating in MC Donalds in Supermarket carpark. Glad to leave.

    The host very generously provided some welcome gifts for us, some French food and wine which we really enjoyed (especially the cake!) :) The host also kindly offered to pick up one of our group from Joigny train station and bring them to the apartment.
