We stumbled across this beautiful hotel, quite by chance on a road trip from Jersey…and fell in love🥰everything is just perfect, the location, right near a fab castle for the kids, a beautiful room and exceptional garden and pool area. So very relaxing and the hotel owners were just lovely! Fab creperie/pizza round the corner and the very best burger directly opposite! Will absolutely be back xxxx

Lovely rural location with nice small town nearby. Perfect rooms (we were given a full tour of the property by the owners). Lovely breakfast. Beautiful outside pool. Owners are most welcoming. Grounds are lovely with goats, sheep, donkeys and bunnies!, also a small children’s play area. The owners have gone above and beyond to provide a fabulous experience for anyone staying.

The lack of soundproofing between the two cottages is a major problem. We can hear the neighbors talking. We can't sleep on the sofa, or even sit on it for very long. Comfort is minimal. On the other hand, the place is suitable for children and pets. The owners are easily reachable if needed.

Our family spent a week in Le Longeron.

Our family spent a week in Le Longeron. There was plenty to do to fill our week. We spent two days at Puy de Fou (highly recommended), visited castles, went canoeing, did a climbing course, went to an outdoor swimming pool, went hiking, and so on. I wouldn't recommend staying more than a week, unless you want to relax for a few more days in the beautiful countryside.

This cottage is ideal for nature lovers, with beautiful walks right from the doorstep along the river. The hosts are very pleasant and offered excellent advice about the region. A very warm welcome and a wonderful stay; we will definitely return.
