I loved how cosy the accomodation was, and the fact that the heating was on when i arrived after a long day walking on the windy beach. The place is not only comfortable but also very welcoming and beautiful decorated, even including some christmas decoration.

We loved how family friendly the place was. We have a newborn and they left the stuff out for us which helped a lot. The place is nice and clean and a reasonable size. This is now our go to place when we need to stop over in France to catch the eurotunnel. Wish we could have stayed longer! The parking space was also a massive positive for me as we were travelling by car so the reassurance we had our own spot was great.

The whole experience was dissapointing, restaurant was not open infact closed from Mon to Thurs each week this is not stated on the hotel web site or on the Booking .com site, rooms grubby whole hotel could do with a facelift, would not recommend this hotel

Liked · The lady of the house serves a nice breakfast which comprises of home made 3 different sorts of marmelade, home made buns and brioches, home made yogourt, fresh fruits as bananas, pears, strawberries, .... she even sent us a list by mail of restaurants that in her opinion are good value... more priced and also better prices ones.... she also gave us some tips for trips in the region and things to see ! Nice person. BTW : Wifi was available and the signal, however not always stable and strong, allowed us to surf most internet pages with ease. I wouldn't rate this necessarily as negative ...but one needs to attend breakfast by utterly 9 am... so it read on one of the notes that we found in our accomodation... The accommodation is situated in a beautifully landscaped...

The accommodation is situated in a beautifully landscaped park in a quiet area. The village is 2km away and Cape Blanc Nez is 8km away. The castle and the rooms (especially the bathroom) are in dire need of updating. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was closed in the evenings, and breakfast was basic.

I really loved the British look of this cottage...the doors with the handles upside down! The simplicity of the kitchen and living room... The bedroom was very simple too, but incredibly comfortable...the same goes for the shower room...in short, I really enjoyed it!

Marquise itself was very quiet and nothing much was open, maybe it was the time of year (April)?! It was close to a lot of beautiful beach towns which were around 15 to 20 minutes eg Wissant and Ambleteuse. There are supermarkets close by (Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour) which was ideal for us as we ate in. We would stay here again in the future.
