I loved this accommodation. Everything was perfect, clean, spacious, play area outside, friendly hosts, and such a beautiful building. 5 star standards. We stayed 2 nights as a stop off while travelling, but we could have stayed so much longer as it's a gem. Also, they have a fabulous amenity across the road- a local winery where we tasted and bought wine.... then enjoyed it on the balcony :))

A lovely and rustic place. It isn't 5 star perfection. It is a lived in but wonderful place. Lots of lovely dogs roaming around which was great. Martial was very friendly, but left us to our own devices. Breakfast was simple but tasty with fresh bread and croissants etc.. Rooms were comfortable, well appointed and clean. Spot on.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at L'orée du bois gaubau and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hosts went above and beyond to make our family feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. ​The food was a highlight of our stay. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious, home-cooked breakfast. We also opted for their incredible dinner, which came with a perfect wine pairing from the region—it was an absolutely delightful experience. ​It's rare to find a place that feels so genuinely warm and inviting. Our stay was more than just a getaway; it was a chance to relax in a place where we felt completely cared for. We can't wait to come back.

Very tranquil in a beautiful house with stunning gardens. The recommendation for dinner at a local restaurant serving traditional Samur food was spot on for 2 travellers on the road over 12 hours. The breakfast is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed our stay the hosts were very friendly whilst giving you space. Communication was easy and we look forward to a return visit would highly recommend.

We planned to visit a few places and buy some of our favorite Anjou wine. L'école Buissioniere seemed like a quiet, rural spot for a relaxing getaway. What a surprise! This historic, stone, rural cottage turned out to be a spacious, comfortable residence. Two stylish bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a large, modern kitchen, and a large bathroom. Two people can comfortably shower in a large shower cabin. In addition, we had our own patio and own yard for parking. The hosts are very nice, the place is very clean and wonderfully quiet.
