Check in was easy with the host meeting us and we were able to organise to ring the bell for her to meet us rather than calling which was appreciated as we didn’t have local phone service. The property has a secure gate and we were able to park our car close to the apartment entrance. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep- despite being near a main road it was very quiet. There is air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom area but it was unexpectedly cool so we didn’t need to use this. The kitchen facilities were good for making a meal and a lovely breakfast was provided of fresh baguette with spreads, yoghurt, fruits, cake, and muesli.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. The receptionist was friendly and provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel facilities and amenities. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and modern design. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a comfortable bed that provided a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail was evident, with thoughtful touches such as complimentary bottled water and a selection of teas and coffees. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different dietary preferences.     We loved the historic home and lovely gardens.

    We loved the historic home and lovely gardens. It was fun for our grandchildren to stay in the "cottage" behind the house. The hostess Claire was very friendly and offered us nice tips to enjoy the area. We enjoyed hearing about the history of this former winery, and we felt that we were having an authentic French experience. We would gladly return to this lovely place!
