Very little to see in Montlucon itself apart from a world-class music museum and a war museum. The old quarter is interesting in passing and facilities for visitors to the town are generally well-considered albeit public toilets are limited. A medium sized walkable city with much to enjoy!
A medium sized walkable city with much to enjoy! The train station is within 4 minutes walk from the city center which offers endless shops, grocery stores like Monoprix, restaurants, places to visit like the chateaux straight from the station and the beautiful river! The cities best attributes are that it is walkable and everything is within reach. The people are kind and not stressed out like many major cities. I wasn’t informed which property I needed to put the code in so I was at least 40mins up and down the stairs trying to put the code in all the properties on the building. I tried to call the given number several times but nobody answered. Hrs. Later they send a text with the property and code by this time I was in bed on a different hotel.
