    Very clean and safe. Perfect location for a short Elzas discovery trip. Highway to Straatsburg and Colmar/Mulhouse is only 5 mins away. On the other hand it's also a very short drive to get up in the mountains.

    Obernai is a beautiful town with medieval ramparts. The market on Thursday mornings was up on the ramparts which we really enjoyed. We didn't particularly enjoy the food at the restaurant but the beer and wine was great. There are storks nesting above the town centre which were fascinating! We drove about 20 minutes to Mont Saint Odile - wonderful views and very interesting.

    lovely little town, I want to return, that is the best complement we can do to a place Main square is amazing beautiful, a lot of nice buildings, full of places to eat and enjoy some nice food...lovely souvenir stores to!!!! Very romantic moody place full of history and beauty !!!

    We have stayed here a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. We stayed in room 110. The rooms are nice, clean, but very warm, there is a fan provided which did go a little to helping. Kettle provided. This time we were very pleased to find that you could book secure private parking on the hotel premises for 7 euros a day which was easily accessed and quality because of the parking in Obernai itself. Also bonus market on the Ramparts behind the hotel on Thursday morning. My only criticism was the breakfast. The bread and croisants were dry and hard, the choice of ham and cheese was minimal. I'm afraid this did not seem the quality of previous years for the amount paid. Despite this I would recommend this hotel to other travellers especially for the location in the centre of the town.

    We spent two nights in Obernai to visit the city and surrounding area. The hotel, a 14th century building with exposed beams, is VERY well located in the city centre and is about a 1 minute walk from everything. There is lots of public parking available in the area. The owners and staff are very friendly. We were in the quadruple room: a double bed and two single beds in a duplex. Lots of room and the kids were happy to have their own area. All in all, an excellent hotel!

    The hotel is located close to a lot of Obernai's main company sites so relatively easy to access. Everything takes about 15-20min to get to - whether it's the company sites or the city center. The train station is nearby. The rooms are of decent size and very clean. The bakery in front of the hotel is extremely good and it was very convenient to be able to walk there for Bfast.

    The breakfast is good and the location is great. There is a lot of restaurants in Obernai, but you better order a table in advance for a dinner, as most of the restaurants become full by the evening. There is a public paid parking area next to the hotel, with a free parking during the dark hours, between 18:00-09:00. And another free public parking 8 minutes walk.

    The rooms were big with enough space to move around. If you know French hotels you know what I mean! The free public parking is less than 50 meters away (outside old city walls). Some rooms are street side on ground level. There is no need to climb stairs. Very pet friendly environment.
