This traditionally built wooden-frame chalet-style house is situated on the edge of the forest. It provided ample room for the two of us, but could easily accommodate a family. The situation is peaceful, with birdsong and the distant sound of the ocean. The beach is a short walk away, either along the road or through the edge of the forest. There are a some shops and restaurants at the beach, including La Plancha du Pecheur, which serves good food and has a large sheltered terrace overlooking the sea. The railway station and a cycle hire shop are within an easy walk. The village of Ondres is a few minutes drive away and has bars, restaurants, shops and a useful Carrefour supermarket. There is also a tourist information office with maps of local walking and cycling routes. The nearby nature reserve at Marais d'Orx is worth a visit.

The location is unbeatable, 2 minutes off the motorway. We have travelled many times before, and it is always a pleasure to arrive at the motel after a very long drive through either France or Spain. Parking right outside the room is a very welcome feature, as we very quickly unload then load the car. The appartment has good climate control, and nice warm beds. Kitchen does aperfect job for a short stay, as well as the bathroom. For us, the motel serves very well as a plce to arrive, clean up, eat and rest after a full day's driving, and we always wake up well rested the next day to resume our drive to either the UK or Spain. Breakfast was nice, lovely to setf off driving with some food in our stomachs. By the way, always a joy to meet the staff on arrival, we are always made to feel welcome at the motel.

Really lovely site, pleasant though basic cabin - think of it as glamping rather than a hotel and you'll be fine. Great location for bike hire, cycle rides, mini golf, evening entertainment and an easy walk to the beach. The laundry facility was great (this is a boring but hopefully useful comment, also the laundry area had the best loos, haha). The pool is nice but gets slightly crowded on the hotter days.

Perfect location for walking our dogs, there are woods/dunes beside the hotel with plenty of walks. The room is perfect for us, we have 2 Labradors and the room size suits us. Would recommend to anyone with dogs. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating.

Great location for us to walk our dog as there are large woods behind the hotel, and the room was newly refurbished. Breakfast was OK, something on offer for everyone.
