Paris in August is wonderful.
Paris in August is wonderful. The heat wave only lasted 2 days of my stay. After the weather was perfect. The Parc de Luxembourg area is lovely, with many shops ans cafés as well as cinemas. It'a Just be aware that many business are closed for annual leave.Guest review byElizabeth - 8.0

Paris is a beautiful city with lots of landmark attractions. Sadly, I missed my flight at Orly airport as a result of traffic congestion I didn’t foresee. Hands down, Paris is the greatest city in the world. The Parisians are nice and helpful people; don't believe what they say about them... especially when it comes to Hollywood's movies; case in point: "Emily in Paris" .... see the "Accidental Tourist" instead :) The food is great, especially when it comes to bakeries. Stay away from the touristy restaurants if you want to save.
