Elegant chateau with an amazing room, a view of the vineyards, and walking distance to the center of Sauternes. The staff was very helpful, secured reservations for us, provided a personalized breakfast, and ensured that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The perfect wine region experience with an adjacent winery for touring and tasting. It was a find!

We (family with two childrens) stay one night in Aug 22 and we were warmly welcomed by Isabelle and Eric, also for a great dinner during which we discovered lovely people as they are. Great position, clean rooms, fabtastic swimming-pool that was a surprise. Recommended.

It was amazing, the room, the views and the attention to every detail. The restaurant- the dinner was an experience and better than for example Jules Verne in Paris. The breakfast was also fantastic- we only wish we had booked two nights instead of one.

Very convenient location, just off the main road on our journey North. Really quiet and comfortable. We arrived at 8:00 in the evening to be met by friendly staff who could not be more helpful.

    Sauternes is a very pretty village but also a very small one...

    Sauternes is a very pretty village but also a very small one-horse town. we arrived on a Monday and all the restaurants were shut and the 1 tapas bar that is open doesn't allow for dogs (we chose this because there was a review from someone who was driving from the Uk to Spain, the same as us, and had a dog and they recommended this bar, however I think the policy has changed since then. Our hosts weren't very hospitable and sent us to Langon telling us there was a lot open there, however, there was only 1 bar serving terrible food. We wouldn't visit here again.

    Sauternes is a jewel and at the same time a miracle – a...

    Sauternes is a jewel and at the same time a miracle – a sleepy tiny town among vineyard-covered sweeping hills of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine doesn't seem to have anything to offer, not even a supermarket. But the appearances are misleading – it's a perfect base for visiting the innumerable chateaus that have been producing France's most expensive wine for at least two last centuries.

    A wonderfully decorated apartment that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has large rooms and a great shower. Across the road from tasting rooms and not far to walk to restaurants and the bakery. Sauternes is a lovely place and lots to explore within the region. Delphine was a delight to deal with and I highly recommend her apartment. Thank you very much and I would love to return one day.

    Fabulous atmosphere, classic Chateau style. Wonderful views as it’s located on a hill. Walking distance to Sauternes which is a very calm but lovely village. I prefer Sauternes over the crowded (but more spectacular) St Emilion. The wine of Ch.d’Arche is superb, not only the Sauternes but also the dry wine. A very nice tour of the winery is offered

    Situation in Sauternes The ideas what to do in Sauternes and contact information to all restaurants in the area via WhatsUp. The personal breakfast, and that it was no problem to have non gluten bread.
