The historic center of Senslis is amazing.
The historic center of Senslis is amazing. It can (and has) been used as a movie set for many historical feature films. Tuesday morning the farmers market occupied most of the streets, complementing the many specialty stores selling fromages, charcuteries, and fruits/vegetables. Senlis is a nice small relaxing town to visit. Near Chantilly and only about 30 minutes from CDG especially if driving and are not planning on going into Paris. we were there over Sunday and Monday so a lot of restaurants are closed. We stayed one night on a cycling holiday, very comfortable.
We stayed one night on a cycling holiday, very comfortable. Wish there had been a kettle. The staff were outstanding, helping us to lock our bikes away safely and opening up again when my husband left a bit of kit behind. They really went out of their way. A beautiful, medieval city, of which we only scratched the surface. Certainly worth talking a full walking tour around the city...it is simply breathtaking with ancient architecture and fabulous cobbled streets.
