A chic hotel at a perfect location. The staff at the reception were kind and helful. The hotel was clean and also the breakfast was good, it even had passionfruit as an option. The breakfast included tasty smoothies and traditional pastry. There was a small garden. The weather was cold so we couldn't sit there but it would be a wonderful place to have drinks in the spring. The bar was so crowded and lively at night which we didn't expect. So we didn't tried the cocktails but I would deffinetly try next time.

It’s truly a hidden gem. While the hotel and its facilities have sort of an old-school charm, it has a great vibe. The rooms are very stylish, and the view from the top-floor balcony is breathtaking. FAQs about hotels in Strasbourg

Crossroads of European Culture

Situated on the banks of the River Rhine, Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region of France. The medieval city centre, Grande Île, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and houses the glorious sandstone Strasbourg Cathedral and picturesque timber-framed buildings.

The Cathedral of Our Lady is the tallest medieval building in Europe and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture. It features a remarkable façade, one of the largest astronomical clocks in the world, stunning stained glass windows, and a terrace with panoramic city views.

Enjoy a pleasant walk in the medieval streets of the old town, or visit the charming Petite-France district. Here are some of the range of Strasbourg restaurants serving Alsatian specialities like beef and pork stew with potatoes and carrots, accompanied by local beer and regional white wine.

At the crossroads of European culture, cosmopolitan Strasbourg is home to numerous international organisations including the European Parliament, as well as one of the oldest European universities.

Strasbourg International Airport is easily reached from other international airports, so book your hotel, apartment or bed and breakfast through Booking.com and experience an unforgettable stay.

    Strasbourg is a beautiful city.

Strasbourg is a beautiful city. I would highly recommend taking an organised boat tour around the circular city route. L'Onion restaurant in the old town was fab for local Alsation food and pretty resonably priced. Booking ahead for restaurants is essential as this is a very busy place.

It's a lovely walkable city with beautiful old buildings in petit Alsace. The boat trip was very informative, and done in many languages (English is no 3 on the panel). We did the slightly longer one which also included the European Parliament. Many restaurants to choose from, and an ice cream shop that makes the cones look like flower petals.

We enjoyed exploring the National Strasbourg Museum and found the staff there welcoming and helpful. We had a very pleasant walk to the Parc de l’Orangerie and a relaxed picnic in the beautiful park gardens. An evening stroll to Petite France, the Covered Bridges and Le Barrage Vauban provided opportunities for special photographs. The city is easy to walk around and if you are particularly interested in history, architecture and art, there is much to discover and appreciate. We really loved the food presented at Le Banquet des Sophistes, on the Rue de l’ Austerlitz, which was an innovative take on French classic dishes.

    A charming town.

A charming town. You can walk around to all the nice places so you don't need a car unless you plan to go to the countryside or visit Colmar. I'd recommend walking to the Petite France section. The homes along the small waterways are picturesque! Next, I'd visit the wine cellar at the hospital, yes! it's at the hospital. They have the worlds oldest white wine in existence. Made in 1472. The tour is free to enter and 3 euros for the audio tour which was well worth it. The wine is very affordable and all proceeds go to the hospital. Finally, I'd recommend visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral. Not only is it beautiful, if you spend the 8 euros to go to the top, you will get a beautiful view of the city. When you get done, the little train that has the tour of the city stops right there at the cathedral. Its's 8 euros as well and well worth it. Strasbourg was wonderful. Bonne Journee!

Strasbourg is an absolute gem — a city that feels like a fairytale. My favorite spot was definitely La Petite France with its canals, cobblestone streets, and half-timbered houses — it’s so charming to walk around, especially at sunset. The Strasbourg Cathedral was another highlight: the astronomical clock fascinated both adults and kids, and climbing to the top for panoramic city views was unforgettable. We ate mostly local Alsatian food, and I highly recommend trying tarte flambée (a kind of thin pizza with cream, onions, and bacon) — it quickly became a family favorite. The traditional brasseries in the old town were great, and we also found cozy cafés perfect for a quick bite or hot chocolate. Getting around Strasbourg was very easy. The historic center is very walkable, and we also used the tram system, which is clean and efficient. Boat tours along the canals are another fun way to explore the city without too much walking — especially handy with little ones. For families with young children, Strasbourg is surprisingly accommodating. Besides the cathedral and boat tours, the kids loved spotting storks at Parc de l’Orangerie, which also has a small zoo and playgrounds. The Christmas markets (if visiting in December) are magical for children, with twinkling lights, decorations, and plenty of sweet treats. Overall, Strasbourg has a perfect balance of history, culture, and family-friendly fun. I’d recommend 2–3 days to soak it all in without rushing.

Loved Strasbourg. Beautiful historic buildings. Fantastic cathedral at the heart of the city. Great choice of restaurants. The Petite France area is a must see for all visitors. The hotel is located at 5 minutes walk from Strasbourg old town (Petite France), and 16 minutes walk from Strasbourg Train Station. The size of the room was big enough, but NOT extraordinary big. The breakfast was very good, despite a bit complicated to get there, as well as the SPA, which are both located in a building in the opposite side of the street accessible by a tunel. The indications to get there could be better, or someone from the staff could do it just after the check in instead to bring bags to the rooms.

More or less everything was on point - the room, the cleanliness, the tidiness, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was a good size, it was spotless, and the wifi and the number of plug sockets were excellent. the breakfast was plentiful and the various things on offer were regularly replenished. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel was near to a tram stop which was a couple of minutes from the Gare Centrale and 10 minutes from the city centre
