A chic hotel at a perfect location. The staff at the reception were kind and helful. The hotel was clean and also the breakfast was good, it even had passionfruit as an option. The breakfast included tasty smoothies and traditional pastry. There was a small garden. The weather was cold so we couldn't sit there but it would be a wonderful place to have drinks in the spring. The bar was so crowded and lively at night which we didn't expect. So we didn't tried the cocktails but I would deffinetly try next time.

It’s truly a hidden gem. While the hotel and its facilities have sort of an old-school charm, it has a great vibe. The rooms are very stylish, and the view from the top-floor balcony is breathtaking. Crossroads of European Culture

Situated on the banks of the River Rhine, Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region of France. The medieval city centre, Grande Île, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and houses the glorious sandstone Strasbourg Cathedral and picturesque timber-framed buildings.

The Cathedral of Our Lady is the tallest medieval building in Europe and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture. It features a remarkable façade, one of the largest astronomical clocks in the world, stunning stained glass windows, and a terrace with panoramic city views.

Enjoy a pleasant walk in the medieval streets of the old town, or visit the charming Petite-France district. Here are some of the range of Strasbourg restaurants serving Alsatian specialities like beef and pork stew with potatoes and carrots, accompanied by local beer and regional white wine.

At the crossroads of European culture, cosmopolitan Strasbourg is home to numerous international organisations including the European Parliament, as well as one of the oldest European universities.

Strasbourg is adorable and we loved the Christmas markets. We used it as a home base for 4 days and traveled to Stuttgart & Karlsruhe. 2 days in Strasbourg is enough time to see everything and 1 extra day to travel to Colmar or other villages close by.

Walking around the city and continually discovering side streets and architecture or another canal and bridge to cross. Make sure you take a good walking map. Take a ride on the mini train as it takes you to places you might not have time to see. Good walking shoes (lots of lovely cobbold streets!). Many restaurants - roughly similar pricing and food was never disappointing! The art and historical museum worth a visit. If yu ARE going to climb the 330 steps in the cathdral - make sure you are reasonably fit as it is VERY very tiring both for the lungs and legs! I wouldn't advise taking small children (a 'nightmare' comes to mind) AND once you are going up you cannot turn round! Check the 10 best things to see in the city - lots of info on line. Have fun

Superb city with a beautiful blend of churches, the cathedral and Alsacien buildings. The Christmas markets were crowded this first week but the heaving mass of good spirited people added to the festive atmosphere. All the markets were worth visiting, security on the island was noticeable and tight. One observation, a seeming complete lack of public toilets to cater for the crowds.

The hotel is located at 5 minutes walk from Strasbourg old town (Petite France), and 16 minutes walk from Strasbourg Train Station. The size of the room was big enough, but NOT extraordinary big. The breakfast was very good, despite a bit complicated to get there, as well as the SPA, which are both located in a building in the opposite side of the street accessible by a tunel. The indications to get there could be better, or someone from the staff could do it just after the check in instead to bring bags to the rooms.

I liked this Ibis very much. Very nice and professional staff, always available. A good breakfast. I liked very much the possibility to have water, coffee and tee available for free anytime in the lodge. The room was small as usual in Strasbourg, but quiet and clean. The hotel has a very convenient parking garage and its vicinity to the metro A makes it a strategic place to visit Strasbourg.

This is a small hotel right on the edge of the city centre a short 8 minute walk away. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. Our room was on the small side but clean and comfortable. The hotel has its own secure private parking parking a few doors down from the main entrance. A great place to stay for a short visit to Strasbourg.
