Thônes is a beatiful quite village with lots of restaurants and caffees (but if you not French, remember of the hours of eating are lunch 12 to 2 and dinner book and arrive at 8pm). Getting around Thône is easy, there several things for kids to do, Mini Golf, tennis, Ziplining and horse riding. Room and bathroom were nicely done, cosy and had what we needed. Parking was in a small car park close to the hotel. Room had a view from the back into the hills and animals and a small balcony. Fabulous breakfast with lots of local and homemade things including clafoutis! The pool/jacuzzi/sauna facilities were lovely, clean and quite a treat! It was hot when we stayed at chez alphonse, and we really loved the terasse which is in the shade as it has a ‘roof’. The chalet has everything you need for cooking and even has a washing machine.
