A quaint village with a nice market square.
A quaint village with a nice market square. The countryside around is ideal walking territory. The Ball leisure park just outside the village makes a good stop for children. Out of season so I was so was the only diner but still the very attentive staff provided meals at a time to suit me within their schedule. Room was a very good standard. shower excellent. Easy Parking right outside the hotel. Great breakfast. Great place for a stop before or after a channel crossing. Great location for travellers using Eurotunnel as far enough into France to avoid built up areas (Calais/Dunkirk). Rural location and short walking distance to small local bar. I usually stop over when crossing the channel in the evening, stop near Calais and have an early start the following day. It's very easy to do a late night check-in with them, staff is always very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are perfectly clean, very quiet and comfortable.
