the location was perfect for us. the room was nicely appointed and very clean. the staff, without exception, were polite, efficient and made us feel welcome and valued. the food in the restaurant was exceptional and the breakfast was lovely and terrific value for money

About 6-8 mins drive off the motorway, I liked the gated car park, good for large vans like mine. Food was good and moderately priced. Great decor, room was comfortable.

The room was small and basic but it was clean. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. The room had reverse cycle air con which was very welcome because Mâcon was freezing when we were there. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They helped us so much with organising taxis despite us knowing very limited french. Breakfast was yummy, locally sourced and they even cooked waffles to order. I highly recommend Fasthotel Mâcon.
