We loved the hotel and where it was located . The owner who hosted us the whole time guided us on where to go , and extremely kind . The rooms are very comfortable and warm. We stayed here to see Strasbourg

We spent a wonderful evening at l'hippocampe. Corrine and Didier were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful and tranquil home. We arrived wet after hiking in the rain. They brought our hiking clothes to the basement to dry and offered us fresh coffee and cake! Dinner was delicious and we had an enjoyable chat afterwards.

The place where the villa is located is wonderful, like in a fairy tale! In the heart of the forest, far from the noise of the cities, where in the morning you can drink your coffee listening to the birds singing...what could be more wonderful?! I recommend this accommodation only for lovers of nature and peace. The owners are helpful, sincere and kind. The accommodation conditions are relatively good, it depends on each person's expectations...if you are a person who loves the city and modern conditions, then this is not the right place for you. The place is more suitable for nature lovers and those who like animals and simple living. Vincent, with people like you, I think the world would be better. Thank you for the warm welcome and all the help.

    Stopped off on our drive back from Italy. A rustic lodge type hotel with beautiful forrest and surrounding hills. Quiet, great value and a superb restaurant. Lovely view from our balcony. Will definitely stay again when travelling through Europe.
