Fabulous views, top quality furnishing and equipment, very comfortable bed, ideally situated for shops, restaurants, pubs and beach. Proprietors, Linda and Nigel are very friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had in any hotel (and I’ve stayed in many) - worth every penny.

    If you are looking for an amazing beach with great dunes for long walks Aberdyfi is great. Other than that it is a very quiet seaside town with a few shops and places to eat. There is a train station that can take you along the coast, also a golf club and a bowling club

    Lovely stay in Aberdyfi it was very busy over the Bank...

    Lovely stay in Aberdyfi it was very busy over the Bank Holiday period as usual but that's what make the atmosphere. Recommend if you visit to book restaurants as they get full and be prepared if busy they run out of food quickly so may not have the full menu.

    We recommend staying at Brig-Y-Don as the views over Aberdyfi are spectacular. The hosts Linda and Nigel are most welcoming and I also recommend Linda’s breakfast which was delicious, only using the finest ingredients.😀

    This isn't a huge place which is good as you don't get too...

    This isn't a huge place which is good as you don't get too many people. Not masses to do in the town but plenty of places to eat and drink, plenty of walks and lots of nice clean safe sandy beaches which is great for kids. We ate the the "Coast" along the seafront (best to book ) and had a really nice sensible priced meal and a bonus for us as it was dog friendly. We shall visit again at some point.

    It is a lovely unspoilt seaside town.

    It is a lovely unspoilt seaside town. None of the rush and noise of large resorts. Plenty of good eating places and ice cream parlours.Take the train up along the coast to Harlech and stroll round the castle. Plenty of other stop offs to visit too.

    A basic Welsh town with the advantage of a lovely estuary and scenery , particularly to the north. Don,t expect haut cuisine , just decent standard grub. Drive north and the scenery is stunning if the weather is kind.

    This was a superb front line property with sea views in a very convenient location in Aderdyfi . The room and hotel in general were beautifully decorated with high end interiors and immaculately clean . The breakfast in the comfortable dining room was great quality with fine ingredients from local suppliers . Colin and Philippa were very welcoming,so knowledgeable about the area and nothing was too much trouble . I would highly recommend a stay here. Excellent all round

    The location to Aberdyfi seafront is perfect, the property is in an excellent location and easily accessible on arrival. The property was exactly as described, spotlessly clean with excellent quality decor, fittings and fixtures. Everything you would need during your stay is provided and of very good quality. The use of a parking permit in the car park opposite the property is very welcome.

    Excellent location for exploring the north and mid Wales area. The hotel provided a superb evening menu which changed daily. The swimming pool and spa pool provided great relaxation after a days hill walking.
