Fabulous views, top quality furnishing and equipment, very comfortable bed, ideally situated for shops, restaurants, pubs and beach. Proprietors, Linda and Nigel are very friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had in any hotel (and I’ve stayed in many) - worth every penny.

    If you are looking for an amazing beach with great dunes for long walks Aberdyfi is great. Other than that it is a very quiet seaside town with a few shops and places to eat. There is a train station that can take you along the coast, also a golf club and a bowling club

    Lovely stay in Aberdyfi it was very busy over the Bank...

    Lovely stay in Aberdyfi it was very busy over the Bank Holiday period as usual but that's what make the atmosphere. Recommend if you visit to book restaurants as they get full and be prepared if busy they run out of food quickly so may not have the full menu.

    We recommend staying at Brig-Y-Don as the views over Aberdyfi are spectacular. The hosts Linda and Nigel are most welcoming and I also recommend Linda’s breakfast which was delicious, only using the finest ingredients.😀

    This isn't a huge place which is good as you don't get too...

    This isn't a huge place which is good as you don't get too many people. Not masses to do in the town but plenty of places to eat and drink, plenty of walks and lots of nice clean safe sandy beaches which is great for kids. We ate the the "Coast" along the seafront (best to book ) and had a really nice sensible priced meal and a bonus for us as it was dog friendly. We shall visit again at some point.

    It is a lovely unspoilt seaside town.

    It is a lovely unspoilt seaside town. None of the rush and noise of large resorts. Plenty of good eating places and ice cream parlours.Take the train up along the coast to Harlech and stroll round the castle. Plenty of other stop offs to visit too.

    A basic Welsh town with the advantage of a lovely estuary and scenery , particularly to the north. Don,t expect haut cuisine , just decent standard grub. Drive north and the scenery is stunning if the weather is kind.

    The rooms are little dated but was expected as the hotels itself is a old building, it really didn’t bother us as the beds were super comfy and we had a lovely sea view with the beach at the doorstep, We had a really pleasant stay made even more nicer by the really lovely manager (I think) and staff who went over and above in helping us get a table for dinner and a lovely breakfast.

    Beautiful location with balcony overlooking the sea. Smart decor in public areas and very clean room. Slightly out of town, so it was quiet. Easily walkable to cafes, shops etc in Aberdyfi. Dinner,B&B weekend offer was great value. Very good food at breakfast and dinner. Professional service and friendly staff.

    Wow, what a fantastic gem of a hotel. View from the hotel was stunning across the bay.. our room was huge with everything we needed. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent
