A gem of a place with excellent facilities and extremely helpful staff. The cosy bar had the advantage of a real fire. There was a spacious dining room for more formal meals. The food in both the bar and restaurant was superb. Very good breakfasts. Although the room was above the carpark it was very soundproof and the view across to distant fields was beautiful. Everything about The Huntsman was to a high standard. It was well placed for walks and access to places of interest. Can't wait to return there.

Beautiful hotel on the Severn. Only 10 rooms. Friendly staff. Nice room (with a lot of things we not needed, for example a wardrobe). Good diner and breakfast. A big plus for us where the lying chairs at the river, perfect.

Our stay began with the helpful & timely respond to an email request. On arrival we were greeted with happy friendly staff who quickly had us booked in for breakfast & dinner. Our room on the lower ground floor was massive, with a lovely view to the garden & included a lounge area to watch tv as well as a place to work. Would definitely recommend for both business & leisure travelers. Typical English breakfast and great dinner menu. The added bonus was the free onsite parking.

Breakfast was continental ,however you could pay for a good choice of cooked breakfast . Every member of staff were genuinely lovely and couldn't be more helpful . Clare was really good in letting us know of the different places to visit and made our rooms up every day to a very high standard , just a really happy and friendly person . The room was beautiful and had everything you could need as was the restaurant food and it's plush furnishing made it a really luxury place to stay.

Warm friendly welcome on arrival. Room was so cosy with an amazingly comfortable bed. Lovely surprise with the breakfast hamper a nice unexpected treat.! Location just walking distance to town and overall superb value for money
