Great location to Stonehenge and other places we were visiting and the property was beautiful. The room was decorated in a charming and cute way. The staff was very friendly and we loved the dogs! There is a restaurant on site which was lovely and the breakfast was included and very good.

This will be rather a strange review because I didn't sleep in the hotel on the night that I booked. But it is necessary a sit demonstrates that what may be of the highest importance is what happens when something goes wrong. I booked this hotel because I had stayed there before and I had enjoyed my stay. When I arrived to check in, I was informed that my room had a burst pipe and was unserviceable. But they had booked me into a hotel just around the corner. I was welcomed back for breakfast and told that I could park for as long as I wished. So, to summarise. Apart from a very short walk to the other place (which was of good standard), I had no inconvenience at all. You can really tell the quality of a business on how they deal when things don't go right. In this case, they had sorted everything in advance and the staff were excellent. This is a brand to trust. I will likely book here again and hope that I do get to stay next time!! Oh, and the breakfast was very good.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Especially the lady who refreshed our room during our stay. Our cat, Nala, loved her visits and was eager to follow her around the building if she could have. The food was excellent, and should we need to, we would most certainly stay there again.

Excellent location in a pretty English village. Very helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of time to help and joke with us. Served a superb breakfast with so much choice. We also enjoyed the Sunday lunch. The room "Mayfly Mess" was very comfortable. Loved that bath ! Bathroom shower was outstanding!! A relaxing stay, thank you to Shelley and her team.

    The town is very quiet and even on a Saturday seems to be dying on it's feet but there are numerous pubs and several reasonably priced restaurants (we were very happy with Frango's and The Golden Dragon. The Andover Tap is worth a call for real ale drinkers. on the positive side, there were no gangs roaming the streets and we felt very safe, Also, their British Legion(open to visitors) has music on a Saturday night and has been very well refurbished. The staff , members we met and the Secretary Sarah were very welcoming.We'd say that Andover is better used as a good base for travelling round the area.

    Andover is a clean small compact town, with good parking and a selection of pubs, restaurants and bars though railway station is a 10-15 walk. It had good connections from the A303 and just a short drive from the M3 intersection.

    The location was ideal for travelling on to the West Country...

    The location was ideal for travelling on to the West Country and was a perfect place to break a long journey. Andover was very pretty and had a few pubs and restaurants nearby. The rest of the town was very quiet in the evening. The shopping centre had some nice shops including Waitrose for stocking up.

    A lovely towncentre during the day but when trying to find an evening restaurant it is lacking . One pub that had good trip advisor reviews no longer serves food leaving only Weatherspoons or Pizza Express unless you like Chinese or Indian. I've never seen so many Turkish Barbers in one town! There are a lot of empty shops on the High Street which makes the town look run down.Probably due to the modern shopping centre that has some nice shops.

    Probably quite a nice town, we didnt see much of it as we were there for bike racing at Thruxton, I dare say its not a bad place to explore the scenery and of course the henge etc, Just pick a better hotel.

    Excellent location,nice cosy bar area,good selection of drinks.Handy for bus and train stations,pubs and restaurants a plenty. Big spacious rooms,warm and comfy beds.I especially liked the large bath,breakfast included which was excellent,tea coffee juice and help yourself to toast. Staff from cleaners to management very helpful and great service. I found the whole week I stayed exceptional and highly recommend booking if your looking for a hotel in Andover.

    We had a massive room, with lots of comfortable seats as well as a huge bed. Large range of options for breakfast. The hotel is located in the centre of Andover, so an easy walk into the town centre. Staff were friendly. Parking was fine.
