We loved every minute of our stay, from the beautiful view to the peacefulness of everything. Dominic was amazing and very helpful and only a phone call away if needed. Twycross Zoo is just a short 10 minute drive away which we had to visit.

Plenty of National Trust and other "Brown Sign" properties...

Plenty of National Trust and other "Brown Sign" properties and attractions close to the location. Only ate at the Appleby Inn, and the cafe at Moira Furnace as it was January, so many attractions were not open till the weekend, but all that information was available online when we planned our trip. Have always used Appleby Inn or the Old Posthouse, but would consider using a pet friendly location, if we can find one.

Outstanding evening meal and breakfast! Very friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble for them and everything was always done with a smile! The rooms were very clean and up to standard! Very Spacious! The beds are super comfortable also.

I requested a ground floor room as my wife walks with the...

I requested a ground floor room as my wife walks with the aid of crutches and was given a brand new disabled room with personal parking. Had to change date of stay but had no internet at holiday cottage to contact Booking.com, no problem to your staff. Extremely impressed. Thank you.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderfully clean room and excellent food options in the restaurant. We used the hotel as it was only ten minutes away for an event at Statfold Barn Railway the next day. Easy to get to as not far from the M42 and also very close to Twycross Zoo! Would thoroughly recommend this location and would definitely stay again!

Appleby Magna is the perfect place to stay, so close to so many attractions. The hotel is easy to find, staff are very friendly, rooms very clean, bed very comfy. Food portion size big and very very tasty. Have recommended to family and friends, will certainly stay here again.

It was the closest accommodation we could find for a festival weekend. We did not do anything other than sleep and eat breakfast at Appleby Magna itself but the environment looked quaint and not far from historic places of interest.

Good location close to M42 junction but not much around the hotel - however, short walk on quiet roads to larger village of Appleby Magna. Welcomed by friendly staff who readily accommodated our request for late check-out and a packed lunch in lieu of breakfast. Restaurant busy but we were served quickly by friendly attentive staff with well-presented, tasty and generous portions.

the room was clean and tidy. we ate in the hotel both nights of our stay and the food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was served at your table, bit of a pain having to ask for more tea or juice, would have preferred to help ourselves to these,.
