We had a truly wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. We were in Edinburgh attending a family funeral and found this little gem of a hotel. I couldn’t find fault with anything the staff were so nice nothing was any bother. Food was very good and hotel rooms were of a very high standard. Will definitely return there at some stage.

We were looking for a castle stay and truly got one! The castle is beautiful, original and has an interesting history. The room was spacious. Spa was a comfortable added value. Dinnering in the Dungeon restaurant with its preceeding practise/ceremony was a great experience not to be missed.

The place was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, but what really made the difference was the incredible hospitality of our hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Their kindness, attentiveness, and great sense of humor made our experience even more special. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and gave us great tips to explore the area. We left with beautiful memories and the strong feeling that we’ll be back someday. Thank you again for everything – we already miss the laughs!

Warm, cosy and so enjoyable. Close enough for a walk if you're up for it and if not the bus facilities are amazing and really cheap and easy to use. It was clean and everything you needed was in the room.

Nice place very close to Edinburgh in bus, but far enough to feel in peace and be quiet. So easy to find it. Very lovely pods around an small lake with everything you need inside. Very cosy atmosphere. Also you have a Scandinavian hot tub and a small terrace out.
