This cottage was beautiful, decorated with a mixture of old and modern. It was exceptionally clean and no comfort was spared. The cottage was fully heated on arrival and you also had the choice of more heat if you wished. There were plenty of towels, and really comfy beds. There are 2 bathrooms downstairs and a toilet and sink upstairs. Both bedrooms were very spacious. There was also a fully heated and very clean hot tub ready to use during anytime of the stay. The cottage is great for dogs, as it is easy to clean and there is a fenced out door space for them and a lovely walk through fields to the river Severn, to the front left of the cottage. There is also the added bonus of The Hub being a stones throw away, which has a store and a cafe - which was very friendly and had a good selection of food including. Veggie breakfast. Highly recommended.

We had a problem with the tv signal in the room, spoke to the lovely receptionist who has blue hair (so you know who we are talking about) and had it sorted straight away. Couldn't have asked for better service.

The room was as shown in photos. Loverly walk in shower towels were provided, that were changed everyday. The location couldn't have been better,so close to a shopping centre, great places to visit all in walking distance. Gloucester Quays is a must. Beautiful restaurants, reasonably priced.

Amazing cottage in a wonderful village location.

Amazing cottage in a wonderful village location. The cottage was full of character whilst offering all the modern facilities you could need. The adjacent village hub offered food and also a well stocked shop and deli. Have never had such amazing cheesecakes the only down side was they are only available on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

It's more the wider area one should consider, not just the village. Although, there is a cute village store which seems cater for everyone's needs. The three counties countryside - the history, the contours, the colours - that is what you come here for. And come here you should. There are lots of sweet little pubs dotted all around. Lots of places to walk, to lie in the grass and relax, to read, to sing madrigals etc.

Easy to find, quiet village location with country walks all around. Local pubs/restaurants a short drive away but not open at the start of the week in early April. Not far from Gloucester, just a 10-15 min drive away.
