Check-in was smooth, the lockbox made it easy to check at any time. Even though we didn't meet any of the staff personally (we didn't have to go to the office as everything was good and working :-) ) I can say that they were very helpful and friendly whenever we contacted them (about check in or check out). Beds were super comfy! The apartment was super clean. Nothing to complain!

I already want to come back and stay here longer. Reception staff very welcoming, gave all the information about the resort, breakfast was amazing with lots of options and attentive staff, our room was very spacious and decorated I think quite beautiful - it felt like home away from home. The pool / activities area was amazing for families (especially young kids) - we thoroughly enjoyed the wave pool and water slide.

    Aviemore is obviously a town built around tourism, and so is fairly expensive, and not particularly historic. But it has all the necessary facilities, with a good choice of bars and restaurants, and its in a great location to explore the Cairngorms.

    Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.

    The location in the middle of the Scottish Cairngorm...

    The location in the middle of the Scottish Cairngorm mountains is superb. Aviemore is a great place to stay if you like hiking, skiing or just a good country walk. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars that cater for all tastes.

    Great little town, lots to do, mostly outdoor activities. Funicular railway is fantastic fun and incredible views. Recommend Chargrill as a place to eat, but do book wherever you want to eat as always booked days in advance.

    Good value, good breakfast choice and generous servings. Public rooms a little shabby, but bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was good. Quiet after 10.30 which is good for a family hotel. Good facilities on site for children. More of a family resort than a couples resort, but different hotel options on the site would suit others. We went with grandchildren so fine for us. Lovely surrounding scenery, close to Aviemore train station and attractions in Aviemore. Restaurants good but not cheap, all had children's options which were good value.

    Originally was small village but is now a busy town. Attractive mainly due to Cairngorm views, Has been well developed but in good taste. Well worth a visit but allow at least a few days as there is a lot to see in the surrounding area too.

    The location at the southern edge of Aviemore makes the hotel easy to find. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and there are plenty of outdoor activities and places to explore on the Rothiemurchus estate a sort distance away. The property is clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff were welcoming and helpful and responded promptly to messages online prior to arrival. There are tea/coffee making facilities and while there are no breakfast facilities there are plenty of options in and around Aviemore so it’s not a problem.

    The staff were excellent and so friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Loads of activities on site for kids Inc 2 x12 m pools Wood shed Bar was very comfortable EntertInment in hotel on Sat evening was excellent There was lots of choice for buffet breakfast and meal in evening considering the price. The hotel gets mixed reviews dont let them put you off . It is very reasonably priced for what you will pay in Aviemore and keep that in mind when you see something that looks tired.

    The hotel is very well located within of Aviemore. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Lovely breakfast buffet in the morning with lots of choices. There are several restaurants on the resort. The price-quality combination was very good. It was very good value for money.
