Hugh was amazing, he made you feel instantly welcome, even coming out to the car when we arrived to help unload luggage and bring it inside. We had dinner there and were once again treated exceptionally. Breakfast was also scrumptious with extensive selections. My 17-year-old son can not stop talking about the amazing experience he had at this hotel and he has traveled extensively in his short life. I also cannot say enough about this place.

    I used to live just up the coast at Happisburgh when I was a...

    I used to live just up the coast at Happisburgh when I was a lot younger and we always return to the area at least once or twice a year. The whole coast is absolutely superb but fast disappearing due to coastal erosion but we have some wonderful memories of past holidays along the coast from Sheringham down to Gt.Yarmouth.

    We really enjoy going to Bacton. Beautiful beach and quiet. You can walk to Walcott by beach or walking by road. Close to Happisburgh and Sea Palling. Not too far from Sherringham and Cromer. Not too far from the B-roads

    Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet.

    Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet. Don't be put off by the gas works, we couldn't actually see them from our accommodation. It's easy to get to Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The local ice cream is delicious especially lemon curd😊

    Very pleasant place right on the coast.

    Very pleasant place right on the coast. Not over commercialised, a nice scattering of interesting shops. Well situated for food and drinks, (Large Pub next door). It was located right among several other resorts on the Norfolk Coast, which were easily accessible.

    Lovely beach, great little cafe,ice cream parlour and fish shop along the front. Great shop sold most things,while stocked.Pochets pocket pub on the front but didn't rate the food. Definitely gone down hill since the last time I ate there.

    Fabulous beaches which are mor or less deserted. Swimming in the sea is amazing. Watsons cafe is outstanding....you've just got to go. Lovely surrounding countryside and small villages. The coast road is do pretty.

    Great location near the beach - even better for us it was near the dog friendly part of the beach so made life really easy to take our two dogs for lovely walks. The house is tastefully decorated and well equipped, the beds and sofas were super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Bacton is a small place but there are cafes and fish and chip shops within walking distance.

    I loved the location..from the chalet door to the beach..we had a small dog so the chalet and the surroundings were dog friendly which was necessary for our stay as we couldn't leave the dog at home.we also loved that we could get breakfast and dinner from the Poachers Pocket without leaving the site.The beach is expansive and clean..nice for walking a little distance.
