Lovely cottage at Tabost near Ballallan.
Lovely cottage at Tabost near Ballallan. Very comfortable stay and lovely views from the windows. We had everything we needed and only wished we had been able to stay longer. We ate at Ballallan Bistro, which is set in the Community Centre. Does not look much from the outside, and it is set in a big room. But the meal was outstanding and the service great. The two young men running it were very welcoming. Had a walk from Cromor head which was full of amazing views and though quite challenging, (for oldies like us) and a bit of bog yomping, was most enjoyable.Guest review byMERIELUnited Kingdom - 6.0
There's not a lot to do in Balallan!
There's not a lot to do in Balallan! It's basically a fairly long village on the A859 Leverburgh to Stornoway and Port Nis road. Our business activities were in Barvas on Lewis and Leverburgh on Harris and Balallan was an alternative to Stornoway.
