Staff were exceptional, from housekeeping, waiting staff, receptionists and management Nothing is too much trouble They're ALL helpful, friendly, efficient and a great Team The room was well set out, comfortable and clean Location was really good for accessing bus routes to Matlock Bath, Sheffield town centre and Meadow hall, to name but a few Lovely scrambled eggs and fresh melons and pineapple plentiful at breakfast as was decaffeinated tea & coffee and oat milk which were also supplied on request in the room

Rooms were very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bath in the bathroom was a real treat and a great way to relax at night. Food in the pub was very good and we enjoyed trivia on Sunday night. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful location! Only a couple minutes from Bakewell but so calm and peaceful. We had the best view of all the cows outside our room and the restaurant was great. I would definitely recommend this place as the perfect location in the peak district- close enough to town and for all the hiking you could want!
