Jasmine is perfect host. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was english rtaditional and tasty. Localisation 5minutes by walk to underground / 20minutes to center by Picadilly line. Pubs and restaurants 5 minutes by walk. Recommended for stay.

What an excellent hotel. It is new and it showed it. Everything was clean and it smelt fresh. The staff at reception were very good and the hotel's proximity to Southgate Tube Station meant that central London was only 30 minutes away.

    I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House.

    I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House. The location is relatively convenient for Stansted Airport – about an hour by car transfer – and the staff were friendly enough. As my room did not have a microwave, they kindly allowed me to use the kitchen one. The room and bathroom were clean, with fresh towels provided daily, which I appreciated. However, one major issue left me quite frustrated. On the morning of my departure, I had an early flight at 7 am and needed to wake up at 3 am. To my surprise, the electricity (or main lighting) in my room and bathroom was completely off. I had to shower using my phone’s flashlight. Thankfully, I had finished packing the night before, as doing so in pitch darkness would have been impossible. I checked, and it wasn’t just my room – the small room between my entrance and the main hallway also had no power. Only the main hallway lights were on, which was a relief, as otherwise carrying two heavy suitcases downstairs would have been extremely unsafe. This situation made me think: what if a guest were ill and needed the bathroom at night, a breastfeeding mother needing light, or someone returning late in the evening? I had noticed the generator (or main power) going on and off during the two previous nights as well, with a short power surge to the mini fridge, which was quite noisy. This is an important matter that should be communicated to guests and fixed promptly. While the cleanliness and some of the staff’s helpfulness were positives, this power outage experience left me feeling stressed and disappointed.

    Plenty of eating options pubs and bars, shopping centres, open spaces eg. Parks etc, Tube station at the end of the Northern Line. Seems a friendly place people pass the time of day and speak to you in most places. Could have spent longer there, as it does have a lot of culture which I could have learnt more about. Can be a bit busier at peak times with traffic and school runs etc. but plenty of crossings on the main highway though.

    Very lovely clean room ,we had the en suite the bed was really comfy better than some more expensive hotels it was lovely . The Owner was so lovely they let us park the car very early to make a full day out in London . so close to the Tube station 2 stops to Wembley and about 4 into London . We had tea / coffee in the room inc water . Would definatly recommend and will stay again for sure .

    The friendliness of the neighbourhood. The access to restaurants and cafes - there is such a variety of cuisines! The access to transport - easy access to greater London by car or train. Plus a big Sainsbury's on the High St.

    My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

    If you want to enjoy a great and delicious pizza (make me feel hungry just write about it), go to Volare Restaurant (at 167 Bowes Rd.), Sila and Virginia and the rest of the staff will received you with open arms, and I assure you that you will eat very, very well.

    Second visit here so must think it is worth a return. If you are visiting the area would recommend this place. Quiet yet convenient with helpful staff. I prefer human contact when I first arrive and Savoro fits the bill because has a restaurant attached which is open lunch and diner so easy to find someone on site. There was tea and coffee in the room - not always the case in many hotels - so just worth a mention. And a good bed and shower with ample hot water for a shower.

    Situated in a quiet and calm part of Barnet yet walking distance to shops, buses and 2 mins away from Carlton care home where my father is a resident. The lounge area is very comfortable with a tv and netflix available. The bedroom is large with plenty of storage and another TV. Harvey and Hilary are very welcoming, available yet discrete All in all a pleasure staying in your apartment. Thank you both.

    It was very clean and modern. It was exactly as shown in the photos on the booking. Coffee machine with a good supply and variety of coffee pods. Powerful shower. Even though its on a High Street it is really quiet. Comfortable bed. Good Internet. Short walk from the tube. This flat had everything I needed. I will definitely be booking again next time I stay in London.
