It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us. Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete. We certainly come back here! Don’t forget to visit Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and the beautiful Bucklers Hard. There is a nice pub and good food!

Bartley is a good location for travelers wanting to explore the vast new forest. It allows you to start right from your place of stay and enjoy the landscape and plenty of animals/wildlife (deer, squirrels, horses).

The hotel is a small hotel with a lot of character in a quiet location on the edge of the New Forest. It has easy road links to explore the New Forest. The communal rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast and evening meal were superb. Staff are particularly friendly. The room was a little tired but there appears to be a current programme to update the hotel (the outside was being painted during our stay). Our stay was excellent value for money and we have already booked again, for a longer stay, with a group of friends.

Good value for money for a large suite for 4 people and a large and good quality breakfast. Walks in the forest through the hotel garden gate. The evening meal was excellent.
