We loved our stay at Mowbray Grange. It was like home from home, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Matty made us aware of how to access the accommodation and was available if we had any issues and left lights on ready for us arriving. The accommodation was warm and cosy. Plenty parking available outside the accommodation, but off the main road. The accommodation is set just off the main road, but you heard no road noise during the night. We would definitely stay again if we needed to stay in Bedale.

Great service, I was able to get into my room early as I needed to change. I had a very good lunch there and breakfast was excellent too. It may 'just' be a pub, but I haven't experienced better at many high quality chain hotels.

    Lovely Typical Dales Market Town , Can buy all what’s required lots of various shops and plenty places to eat plenty choice . But I did live around this area many years ago with extended family short term so maybe abut Biased . But plenty to see and do .

    Area is superb. Very Yorkshire! Top views everywhere. No litter, grafiti and clean. great 'Local' shops and choice to eat and drink. great friendy folk. Other towns are easy to drive to so a great location if you want to visit other locals. Very few pot holes ! We has 4 days of Sunshine! No rain.

    We didnt spend long in Bedale because we went on a Sunday on our way home, but found a lovely cafe for coffee and cake. It was an interesting place would go back to spend longer when we not in a rush

    I did not stay in Bedale as I booked but when I looked for hotel it was several miles from Bedale so as I did not like the room I visited Richmond instead. A lovely market town where I bought fish and chips and ate them in the market place in the sun. Would recommend Richmond

    Nice little main street.

    Nice little main street. Couple of shops, and able to get essentials. Quite a few pubs and lovely walk along the river for us, the kids & the dog. The only thing we missed was a pub with a garden outside for the kids to run around in & a swing slide. We couldn't find one in Bedale.

    The old fashioned village streets and the friendly Yorkshire folk who greet strangers as friends quaint shops and coaching inns serving local produce with a free helping of genuine hospitality easy access to all that this part of the world has to offer Who needs to travel abroad !

    Great experience of a proper rural village hotel/country pub. The locals were very welcoming and staff were excellent. Snape is a decent walk (and lovely walk) to Bedale and taxis are hard to come by but the hotel staff offered to drive us there at night which was really appreciated. There is a planned £150k refurbishment in the New Year so it would be great to go back and see what improvements have been made. Overall a really pleasant and relaxing weekend, which is just what we wanted. Food and beer 10/10 👌🏻

    Beautiful little cottage. We absolutely loved our stay! A stones throw from Bedale centre and literally 2 doors down from a pub. Close to the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside. It really is the perfect location for a getaway. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend- kitchen full of utensils etc for cooking, a bathroom with shampoo, soap, lovely towels. The bed was very comfy too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    The location on a farm ground is very convenient . Fresh eggs are daily available. The cottage ( Orchard ) is nicely decorated and well equipped. The car is parked in the court. You can sit outside in the inner court. Shops are in Bedale. The hosts are very friendly and the dogs curious. We had a very pleasant stay. Concerning York. You can park the car on P+ R and the the bus to the center.

    Staff lovely, couldnt be more helpful, beautiful dog friendly room, more amenities than you get in much more expensive hotels. Probabaly best cooked breakfast we've had away from home! Great location for surrounding areas, and plenty going on in town itself!

    Very good budget hotel and dog friendly too for those looking for one. Despite the local raf jets taking off. They stop in the evening or you just hear it as background noise. Very good evening meal and breakfast.
