Wow, my first time at Moxy, and I'm blown away! Everything was excellent, room, staff, style, location. Have been here for Louis Tomlinson, the venue is only a footstep away, great for a concert! Overall I had such an amazing time! Breakfast is well worth mentioning it: honestly I've never had a better breakfast in a hotel in the UK! Variety, taste... phantastic! Thank you so much for completing my stay in such a nice way!

Rooms were big, clean and modern. Location was great a five minute drive to the hotel from the airport. I didn't have to leave for 2 days as everything was there. Was like a mini break - international choices of restaurants. The cinema with a nice choice of movies and goodies. The spa was fantastic, as was the treatments, super relaxing. The sky bar and food, staff was also amazing. In all, a lovely surprise of a hotel which made my few days relaxing, enjoyable and I would go back for longer and take in some of the activities and performances across at the NEC. Oh and I also had an AGM in that time, the meeting rooms and catering again, awesome. Big Thank you.

It was indeed a lovely stay. The staff were amazing & very welcoming. The facilities were clean & beds were very comfortable. The pool was an added lovely touch and breakfast was very good & kitchen staff very responsive & amazing My 6 year old son said the stay was a 10/10. We all had an amazing time. Thank you & welldone!

We left the room after roughly 2 hours .

We left the room after roughly 2 hours . Bedding was dirty, drug paraphernalia under the bed and used cigarette on bathroom floor. Someone who stayed the night before also tried coming in our room looking for his phone that he lost! Felt extremely unsafe. Paid for food to be delivered but just wanted to get out of there. Booked another hotel immediately . Appalling service and disgusting. Genuinely don’t know how they are open!!

The location of hotel is the only thing going for it.

The location of hotel is the only thing going for it. It’s close to the airport and resorts world The room was too small. One towel and hand towel for two of us. One cup for two guests. Bathroom light didn’t work and no toiletries. Door to the room had to be pushed with force to open due to carpet restricting it. The noise from the outside was so loud I thought the window was open! Mirror on the wall in a terrible position We had no sleep!!

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC. About 10 minutes walk from the centre and made a great base for us while we were attending the car show. Staff were great, room was presentable, although the carpet in room 264 was badly stained with what looked like make-up or boot polish. Slept well as the beds were comfortable. The pool and changing area was a bit small for such a large hotel, but we used this when it wasn't busy so it wasn't so bad. Breakfast was great and good value for money, booking for the restaurant is recommended as it gets busy but overall an enjoyable stay and we will be back again.

It was the closest accommodation I could get to an event...

It was the closest accommodation I could get to an event that I was going to at the NEC for a reasonable price. You would not want to be too fussy top stay at The Gables but it is fine and does the job of providing a nights accommodation.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11. the 24/7 bar and kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we didnt get in until 11.30pm from the concert. Breakfast was good but not as good as other IHG hotels I have stayed in. Less choice and the coffee machine that day was not working.

As a Hotel Manager myself.

As a Hotel Manager myself. There should be no excuse for shortage of Stock. The Menu only had 5 Meals available as they did not have the items in From Ralking to the Morning Staff they were upset that the overnight staff did not do their job. This is all stuff Good management should be able to spot and resolve.The Staff looked Miserable and were not the best for politeness.

The hotel is large and in a great location right next to the NEC and a short taxi ride away from Birmingham Airport. The staff were excellent and friendly and the breakfast was particularly good, great variety and the hot options were tasty.

Location and it was just what we needed, a hotel at Birmingham airport before a 6.25am flight. It’s basic, but clean, has tv and coffee making facilities, bed, toilet and shower. What more do you need when you are going on holiday.
