I loved the location, so peaceful and quiet. The hot tub/jacuzzi was so relaxing in the sunshine. The beds were comfortable and the swan folded towels was a lovely touch. It had all the amenities that was needed for a lovely break away and I will definitely return one day.

Staying at Tim's place was very pleasant. The modest room had everything we needed and our host took good care of us. We were also accompanied by a small, nice dog and a black cat. Considering its low price, breakfast, hot tub and location by the sea, this accommodation is a hidden gem in my opinion!

    Birchington is a little gem in the heart of Thanet coastline. Wider shops for all your needs and interests with a short drive to the beach where you can sit and have a coffee and something to eat with your dogs at your side and people who genuinely welcome you and are friendly and very helpful.

    tranquility..peacefulness ...no loud music should be allowed at pods ... Well set out ...lovely setting. Clean staff friendly helpful. Restaurant and shows were good...shop and restaurant could open earlier ..8am. Families with kids . review from the kids...expand kiddies playpark and add more slides if possible ...

    I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do...

    I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do if it is purely a holiday. Public transport is good to all areas. Broadstairs is nearby and has many eating places, Minnie Bay in Birchington has seafront restaurant and bar. There is shopping at Westwood Cross, numerous takeaway options with delivery, best fish and chips at Fishbone Grill just as you come into Birchington. There are many beaches around the coast but do check which ones have doggie restrictions from May . RAF museum is worth a visit as is the spitfire museum. Eating places there too.

    Lovely place to stay. Lots of places to visit. Holiday park is brilliant for families.Plenty to do on site. Staff were really friendly & food was really lovely. Will definately be back with the grandchildren next year.

    The caravan park was lovely and well kept.

    The caravan park was lovely and well kept. The local shop has everything you need for a short stay. Plenty to do for kids. Short drive to local beaches. Broadstairs ,Margate and Herne within easy reach by car. Definitely will book again.

    Such a beautiful place, plenty to do, loads of beautiful...

    Such a beautiful place, plenty to do, loads of beautiful beaches, places of interest to see. We went everywhere by bus, we brought a day rider ticket for £4.50 and that allowed us to travel all day. We had a fabulous time.

    The property is really well equipped. It's like home from home and a great location for visiting the coastal areas. Birchington is easy to drive into with a variety of takeaways. We had a lovely stay for my mother in laws 80th birthday. I would definitely recommend

    Loved our stay at The Waves. Staff were very nice and helpful. Loved that it was on the beach. Very scenic walks nearby. We walked to the property from Birchington station but you can get a cab for £4ish. The breakfast the next morning was delicious.
