I was wary of this accomodation after reading some reviews online, however there was no reason for concern! The accomodation was clean and we didn’t have one of the newly renovated rooms, but it wasn’t an old room, it was fine! The best thing about the place was the wait staff at dinner. They were so lovely, providing recommendations, chatting to us & genuinely interested in our travels and provided a high standard of service.

Chris was so kind and very accommodating. We needed a place to stay at the last minute as we were unable to drive to our intended destination that evening. It was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! An added bonus was French press coffee - I was getting tired of other places serving instant! Thank you!

Very relaxing campsite, cabins and toilets spotless. Lovely vibe with travellers and walkers. Beautiful setting, clean air. Even though it rained heavily, we made good use of the communal seating area for eating and socialising.

Location was great! Friendly staff, endless walks to explore locally or only a short drive to Loch Lomond or glencoe if you wish to explore a little further. Great variety of tea in the room, coffee and hot chocolate!

The welcome was warm and our stay was really comfortable.

The welcome was warm and our stay was really comfortable. You have incredible views from both the dining area and your room. I couldn’t fault anything at all. It was perfect! The breakfast is definitely worth remembering, great coffee brilliant service. The walk to the station is uphill but manageable.

The hotel is fine. Very clean rooms. Great food. Unfortunately, the staff is extremely unfriendly. We were only served at breakfast after repeatedly asking and inquiring, and then they were in a bad mood and very rude. We felt unwelcome. A real shame. However, the hotel is perfectly located on the West Highland Way. Convenient for all hikers.

A property with beautiful rooms in adjacent annexes, surrounded by greenery. Friendly, cheerful staff. Excellent breakfast included in the price. The dining room is welcoming, and we even enjoyed live music.

Stayed in a room in the main hotel - all fresh and delightful - made use of most of the facilities including the residents lounge which was comfortable and welcoming as well. They even let me park my classic Bentley right beside the front door to keep it out of the worst of the weather. Dinner was delicious with an excellent selection of proper beer on tap.

Public areas of the hotel are well kept and offer a pleasant surrounding in which to relax. Nice bar/restaurant area with a elevated deck with great views. I didn't stay in the main hotel but the newish annex buildings to the rear of the main hotel these have everything you need and are very comfortable.
