Bridgend is located about 15 minutes from the ferry terminal in Port Askaig (Islay). The town is centrally located to both the Northern and Southern distillery districts. Make Bridgend your base for Whisky and wildlife tours.
Make Bridgend your base for Whisky and wildlife tours. A very comfortable hotel, with great food. But, unless you have your own car you must book a guide to take you around the island. The buses (and Bridgend is very well situated for them) are irregular and stop at 5pm, don't run at all on Sundays. So if you're out makes sure you've booked your way back!Guest review byKen - 8.0

Bridgend expertly handles what must regularly be a full house for lodging, dinner, breakfast, and more. It was at the back of the hotel so very peaceful. We lloved the comfort and homely feel , the garden was a lovely bonus and ideal place to relax with a drink. The full Scottish breakfast was one of the best we've ever had accompanied by delicious coffee and pastries . There is free parking and pets are welcome .
