A very high standard hotel, definitely worthy of a 10. The service and approach to guests is very professional, and very warm and welcoming. Variety of breakfasts and dinners, very tasty, in a variety of hotel restaurants The place is located in the heart of the forest, which gives a very special feeling of connection to nature, peace and quiet, a very comfortable and well-organized pool on the hotel grounds, the surrounding gardens are very well-kept and allow for enjoyable walking tours. A very special experience of staying in a castle from the last century that is maintained and managed to perfection, We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights in total

    Thank You for a Memorable Stay at Rhinefield Hotel We wanted to extend our personal heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team for making our recent weekend break at Rhinefield Hotel such a memorable experience. The hotel’s setting is simply fabulous—surrounded by the beauty of the New Forest, it provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality and range of the facilities, which exceeded all our expectations and truly enhanced our stay. A special word of appreciation must go to your staff, who were consistently friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Their warm welcome and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and made us feel completely at home throughout our visit. We would like to give particular thanks to ‘Sarah’?, who headed up the Conservatory Restaurant. Her professionalism and the way she handled all the guests with their food, was exemplary; she ensured every meal was a delight and every guest felt truly valued.

    Beautiful area.

    Beautiful area. Wonderful for walking & reconnecting with nature. Close to Bournemouth were we found an incredible plant-based restaurant "Twelve Eatery". Also Lymington is stunning, as is Christchurch & Hengistbury head.

    Situation in Forest. Whole WW1 history. Rather heavy traffic as on road to coast not helped by level crossing for main line trains. Marked tour of village long for the elderly! - not helped by Main Street being closed for road works!

    It's a lovely peaceful village, plenty of walking but...

    It's a lovely peaceful village, plenty of walking but otherwise you need to get out of the village for shopping etc, however the train station is a two minute walk from the Thatched Cottage Hotel and trains run regularly to most places, and very reasonably priced. Great place to recharge the batteries. There are a couple of pubs for eating in the evening and they serve great food with very pleasant friendly staff.

    A great area for walking or cycling with lots of paths through its mix of woods, streams and heathland. Brockenhurst itself isn't the picture box thatched houses quaint village I was expecting but has a lovely main street with lots of independant shops.

    A great stay in Brockenhurst. The guesthouse is right in the centre of the town, close to the station and has some pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. There's a car park, and a nice garden out the back where we stored our bikes. We kindly got a bigger room upon arrival as I'm very tall. Very responsive owners. A good base for exploring the New Forest, would highly recommend the walk between Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst

    We are regular guests are the Cottage Lodge hotel and as usual the service is top notch, the room incredibly well appointed and breakfast a true delight! No other hotels in the region beat the Cottage Lodge Hotel. The staff is always friendly, rooms very cleaned, and we love the fact that sustainable and local products are being used. We will be back soon to our favourite getaway.

    Our host Genette was very warm and accommodating. The breakfast was prepared as you liked with a great view of the fields and animals outside and thé bedroom was cleaned each day. The area is quiet and within a twenty minute walk to the village. Brockenhurst is centrally located to reach all the tourist attractions in the New Forest.

    Flat is clean, very well maintained, and decorated to a high standard. There is lots of space to relax in between exploring the new forest. Location is great, as you are a 60 second walk from the shops in Brockenhurst, right in the heart of the New Forest.
