It's a dreamy place which makes you feel like you've arrived in a different point in time. Incredibly warm, welcoming and sweet staff, cosy rooms, comfortable beds and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anybody who loves the authentic, charming British countryside with all its beauty.

Very friendly welcome from Dean and Katie. I felt very well looked after. Room was exceptional value, clean and nice sized bathroom. Great location for my work. I would definitely stay again.

Alnmouth is a nice place. I chose this Hotel by visual memory from last year visit (we did not sleep, just passed by the beach). What a nice and lovely structure. The girls helped me by bringing all the luggage upstairs (I was ashamed, but tired and grateful). Check-in was made in 15 seconds sharp. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast is tasty and served hot in matter of minutes. The room is clean beyond limits, and the biscuits next to the coffee pot are delicious!. Roomy bathroom. Very modern but also traditional looking. An interesting mix, and clearly a choice of the girls running the site.

Great location at the top of town. Could see Warkworth Castle from the front and the river at the back. Lovely breakfast. Room was a twin but very comfortable. Restaurant and bar were open. They were able to store our bikes securely.

Comfortable room, modern, spotlessly clean, great view and excellent facilities in the communal area. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and they have a large secure bike storage. Definitely a luxury hostel experience 😊

    The area would only be suitable for people with the use of a car to get to other places of interest round about. Druridge Bay lake, dunes and woodland areas were within walking distance. Sadly, going out to eat needed transport but the B&B owner was willing to drive you to the nearest, recommended pub.

    Very small and quiet village.

    Very small and quiet village. Almost no traffic, beautiful countryside all around. Only one pub serving food nearby, others are at least a mile away, but there's a very fast bus to the Amble which has lots more places to eat.

    Mr. & Mrs. Bridge were SO welcoming and could not have done more for us. They offer quite a bespoke service. Breakfast was delicious. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean, and the lighting was better than the hotels we stayed in. I would highly recommend a stay at The Bridges, albeit that it is a small B&B - one feels thoroughly "looked after ".

    The rooms were beautifully decorated & furnished, more like a boutique hotel than a b&b. Everything was spotlessly clean & everything we needed was there; thick fluffy towels, bath robes, even little chocolates at the bedside. The breakfast was absolutely spot on, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt followed by full English breakfast, freshly prepared.

    Steven is a wonderful host! Our breakfast was delicious and the King size bedroom was very cosy and comfortable. Whilst Broomhill may look out of the way, it is very central to many towns and attractions on the NE coast.
