Lovely place to stay in the heart of Ilkley. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The access to the town and wider with the train service was perfect for us. It was a really nice atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and sorted anything we needed. The breakfast was great. Will be recommending this place to friends and definitely returning ourselves!

We had a fabulous stay. The inn has real character. Our room was so big with a very spacious bathroom and shower too. The bed was really comfortable and cozy. Delicious breakfast by the fire the following morning looking out over the moors was my favourite. I'd recommend staying here rather than a same-y hotel, especially with google maps now you can find places so easily and the drive there was no problem too!

    Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise.

    Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise. As well as the obvious terrain of the Yorkshire Dales for hill walking, the town was a great base. Walks on the upland moors, and many well-maintained paths through the upper farm lands. The town itself has lots of footpaths throughout the town, so its easy to avoid just walking along the streets, and many green spaces with extensive play facilities. A good selection of restaurants and general purpose shops. Though parking is a premium in this popular location.

    I know Burley well.

    I know Burley well. I had grandparents and now relatives in Burley. It is a delightful village which maintains its charm. And still has a rail service! This is not William writing this review. It is his wife.

    Lovely, great spot to explore other areas

    Lovely, great spot to explore other areas Queens head pub was a fantastic place to eat and have an amazing meal. Lovely experience. Definitely going back to this pub, highly recommended. Brilliant girl chief and waiting staff.

    This is a gorgeous village.

    This is a gorgeous village. The perfect location to visit Harrogate, Ilkley, Leeds, Bradford, Skipton. It's well equipped with cafes, pharmacy, deli, library, play area, restaurants. It's really clean and well kept and has a lovely community feel (lots of events.. plays, a duck race, concerts). Lots of walks nearby.
