It’s a good central point for exploring the area around Morecambe Bay and the Kent Estuary. Used the train to visit Ulveston which worked well for us. The trip was amazing, peaceful and a variety of things to do round the area. The apartment and Marina were immaculate. The property had everything you need for a weeks stay. Even milk tea bags and coffee on arrival. The food at the farm and the pub are well worth a visit. Good food lots of choice and value for money. The surrounding area from the Dales to the Lake District was lovely. The villages were fairly quiet, and built of traditional stone. It was great to see sheep roaming the village. The New Inn is a fabulous place to stay. Such lovely staff. Everyone very welcoming. The bedrooms and en-suite couldn’t be better. Very stylish. The beds were super comfortable and the bed linen and pillows were 5* The breakfast was perfectly cooked and very delicious. I would recommend this lovely place to stay to anyone.
