The farm house was absolutely beautiful, it exceeded my expectations, its was way better in reality than photos. The location was so peaceful with little to none light pollution, the house was warm and homely. I shall definitely be back for a longer stay

Had a lovely stay! room was nice, staff were lovely, everything is very reasonably priced also. Area is peaceful and relaxing, went for a lovely long walk around the area. Booked us back in for Monday in the suite room!

Staff at the reception and at the restaurant were polite and helpful. When they did not have one of the menu item my wife ordered, they made it up with a free ice cream which was a nice gesture. Room was of decent size and beds comfy. My kids loved the breakfast spread. Food quality was excellent in our view.

Fantastic find! Cool wee village within itself along the banks of the canal. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Loads on offer, pub grub, restaurant, ice cream shop etc.

The bed was comfy, I slept really well. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing. The Eagle and Child is in a brilliant location for bus travel to Blackpool or Lancaster or Preston. The local shops and boutiques are full of local produce.

absolutely spotless never stayed at a more clean and comfortable property before. very welcoming. and everything that you need in the pod was provided such as tea bags, milk, shower gel, cleaning products etc. The host was very welcoming. The hot tub was perfect. Overall would highly recommend

    A perfect place to get away and relax , the canal walks are...

    A perfect place to get away and relax , the canal walks are lovely and it's easy to drive to the lake District. I would recommend this place to everyone who just wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. you can make your way to Garstang with lots of places to eat / shopping for gifts , and walking by the canal 😃 there's a market on Thursday.

    Beautiful,quiet and out of the way surroundings,I.e a canal one side and a stream the other.Julie the host couldn't do enough for you.She was amazing.Lovely breakfast.Will definitely be returning.Would definitely recommend
