We didn't really explore much of Choppington and we ate at...
We didn't really explore much of Choppington and we ate at the Anglers Arms each night. We did one walk by the river but it involved some steep steps so wouldn't do that again. We could see a pleasant park from our bedroom window but didn't go there. Our time was mostly spent visiting English Heritage and National Trust properties. We did, however, get lost coming back to the pub as it was actually in Sheepwash rather than where Choppington is marked on the map.Guest review byEileenUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Anglers arms was a joke of a hotel wouldn't advise anyone else to book, ended up driving home 11.30 at night. The room was excellently presentable, clean and spacious.
The room was excellently presentable, clean and spacious. Although the bed was a little on the small size ( for us, being of the larger proportion adults). The room would easily accept a king size bed. All the accomodation was on the ground floor but unfortunately access for people with wheal chairs or walking difficulties would find one of the small staircases converted to a ramp very acceptable. We just travelled from the studios to my daughters a couple...
We just travelled from the studios to my daughters a couple of miles away. But Choppington does look lovely. We did go to a supermarket there which is not to far away. Other than that we spent our time out in the sunshine travelling locally. Lovely place.Guest review byCaroleUnited Kingdom

What we got was more than perfect. Spacious, spotless, airy, relaxing, comfortable room with more extras than a high class hotel would offer. With family in the area we will definitely be back.
