Not too far as well as not too close from Birmingham, the lodge is very attractive, clean. The staff is very kind, the food of the pub is delicious. Although the pub is under the rooms, they are very quiet. Thank to Robbie Williams for his kindness ☺️

    Coleshill is a very old market town in a rural setting, currently being torn up and built over to accommodate HS2. The town has always been out on its own but the outer world and HS2 is bring it into the modern drama and noise.

    Really lovely, small and traditional English town.

    Really lovely, small and traditional English town. Friendly locals who are obviously proud of where they live. No litter, no graffiti and everywhere is clean, tidy and well looked after. And... a fabulous selection of Indian restaurants!

    Its a little village just outside of the NEC, sure that some nice people actually live here but we seamed to have the local rif-raf in the pub that we stayed at. It has a small morrisons, a fish and chip shop and not much else going for it except it has the advantage of a long road that will allow you to get out of the village, just so long as you keep going.

    A lovely village atmosphere.

    A lovely village atmosphere. The nearby road links make for an ideal overnight or longer stop when travelling the country. Ideal for the NEC or Birmingham without the bustle of the city centre. Beautiful church, with a spire that can be seen for miles. Swan hotel was where we had an evening meal and breakfast, the food was excellent and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and polite. On reflection I would stay there on my next visit. Coleshill is easy to get around but car parking might be difficult at certain times. I would avoid staying at The Coach Hotel on my next visit.

    We were exhibiting at the NEC so only a 10 minute drive away...

    We were exhibiting at the NEC so only a 10 minute drive away. Stayed here 5 or 6 times now and suites all our needs. The high street has 5 Indian restaurants and a fish and chip shop/ restaurant. There’s a Morrisons 3 minute walk away. Free parking. The food available at the hotel is also great value including the breakfast

    Perhaps tell owner not to let prospective clients to walk passed smelly toilets to get to reception as area filthy - rooms adequate but very very noisy above e beer garden - patrons left at 12.30 am so bad nights sleep

    The breakfast was awful. They had no gas so they microwaved the eggs and they were like rubber, even the second lot. There was no yogurts, fresh fruit except for apples, no croissants or pastries and the sliced bread was stale, good job we wanted toast. We were told it was not the hotels fault there they had run out as their delivery did not due until lunchtime.

    I was greeted with a warm welcome. The host showed me my storage section in the fridge should I wish to store my own food which I didn't need as the breakfast was more than adequate for my needs. The information pack was one of the best I've ever seen and better than any 5* hotel information pack.
