Excellent staff at the reception, willing to provide you with all information needed. Excellent breakfast, large variety, fresh products and one of the few places that you find not only industrial bread but other kinds. Very good Wifi, and very good water pressure. Espresso machine in the room. Excellent location for hiking, next to the river. Very nice decoration of the restaurant. Very fast check-in and you pay at the hotel, no money is deducted prior to your arrival like in most of the hotels.

A great house to stay in! Really big and comfortable rooms. Nice bathroom. All you need is in the room. Great breakfast. Nice bar and nice room to read or play cards in if you want to. Good service that you can buy lunch to bring with you. Been here some years ago, but it was even better this time to stay here. Will definitely come back!

    The Highlander Inn was just what I needed and by the number of other guests it is a very popular place. It delivers, all that one could wish for. Hospitality, friendliness, good service, food was superb, staff could not have been more helpful. Would recommend to all of my close friends, have already done so now that I am back home.

    This hotel is very expensive and a rip off, working in the area every month and had no option to use it one night for a stay, caters for the tourists and rips them off, go 10 mins in any direction and get better service and room for half the cost. If you are a tourist more expensive does not mean better, especially at this hotel.

    Craigallachie itself is very small.

    Craigallachie itself is very small. If you are out and about in the car it is perfect for you. The Highlander Inn was a great place to eat. Aberlour just 2 miles away was in walking distance and the walk along the river was nice. You had to walk along the main road to get to the path though. The cottage is just off the main road but it is quite peaceful. You don`t hear the traffic inside really. Unfortunately we didn`t get to many tourist places as they were still closed.

    Great location for visiting whisky distilleries. We received a warm welcome, room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Lovely homely touches and a great hair drier and bath in the room. We enjoyed our pizza dinner and breakfast was excellent. There is a lovely comfortable lounge for relaxing in after dinner and parking is easy. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the whisky trail in Speyside.
